Overview

The LEN L3GGI02 is a compact panel mount Galvanic Video Isolator and is compatible with all SD, HD or 3G SDI digital video signals. They are built in cylindrical “barrel” style enclosures, fitted with a BNC connector at each end, and isolate both the signal and ground paths.

A feature of this version is a mounting flange which makes mounting the Isolators to, for example, tailboard panels on a OB Truck, very easy.

Also available in non panel mount in-line versions.

Description / Details

Our LEN ground isolators use broadband high-pass filters to provide isolation of DC currents between two pieces of equipment, whilst permitting the full bandwidth of the SDI signal to pass, thus avoiding problems of signal distortion and operator shocks caused by a voltage difference. This method out-performs broadband transformers for SDI signals. Both signal and ground paths between equipment are isolated, there is no distortion of the signal. They are also suitable for ASI format.
